Sunday School

Each Sunday @ 9:00am and 10:30am

Our desire for Sunday School is to study God’s Word, care for one another, create a community that lives life together, and cultivate what it means to be a disciple of Christ. (Beginning 9/17) Our Sunday School classes are currently in the book of Hebrews. In Hebrews, we will discover that Christ is all we need in our Christian life, as well as many other biblical truths. We would love for you to come visit multiple classes until you find one that you believe will grow you toward maturity in Christ.

Let us work with you to help you find the group that is right for you.  Remember, you are free to visit as many cases/groups as you like until you find the perfect fit.

Check out our class list and locations at the Welcome Center.  We will have this available here on this page in the near future.

“God’s Plan”

In this world of chaos and confusion, we often ask “what in the world is going on?”  In the midst of everything, GOD IS REAL, GOD HAS A PLAN, GOD IS IN CONTROL and GOD LOVES US!  This is the message that runs from Genesis through Revelation.  This study reveals God’s Plan of the Ages through Scripture and builds our faith and trust in the ONE TRUE GOD. This is an 8 week study facilitated by Anne Barkley. This group meets in Room S202/203.

“Uninvited” by Lisa TerKeurst

With biblical depth, and gut-honest vulnerability, this study helps readers:

Release the desire to fall apart or control the actions of others by embracing God-honoring ways to process their hurt.  Know exactly what to pray for the next ten days to steady their soul and restore their confidence.  Overcome the two core fears that feed our insecurities by understanding the secret of belonging.  Stop feeling left out and start believing that “set apart” does not mean “set aside.” End the cycle of perceived rejection by refusing to turn a small incident into a full blown issue. This is a 6 week study facilitated by Tori Larck. This group meets in Room S206.

“Stepping Out of Denial into God’s Grace” by John Baker

Stepping out of denial into God’s grace is a pathway to freedom from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Where have you developed your patterns for thinking and living? What are you holding onto from your past? What struggle or fear has you paralyzed? God’s truth will set you free to live this abundant, victorious life through Christ. This is an 8 week study facilitated by Dawn Green and Debra Watts. This group meets in N123.

Though there are many heroes in the Old and New Testaments, you’ll discover the one true Hero of our faith: Jesus. This is an 8 week study facilitated by Danny Chavers. This group meets in Room S201.

“Think Differently” by James McDonald

Why do we lose our temper? Why do we hurt those we care for most? How do families find themselves broken? The reason is often the way we think. Beyond behaviors and deeper than attitudes, thinking determines outcome more than anything else. God offers our only hope for victory over disposition, dysfunction, double-mindedness, and every other mental stronghold. With Him we can think differently. This is a 10 week study facilitated by Tandy and Ann Key. This group meets in Room S202/203 at 10:00 a.m.
