Preschool Ministry
The purpose of Santuck’s Preschool Ministry is to partner with parents to introduce preschoolers to God, His Word, Jesus Christ, basic truth about various people and places in the Bible through activities, crafts, games, and teaching. This provides parents the opportunity to attend adult Bible Studies and small groups through which they can grow spiritually.
Our goal is to provide quality classes and care so that parents will feel comfortable bringing their preschoolers and being a part of the Santuck family.
The Preschool Ministry is always in need of teachers. If you have a desire to see children learn about God and His Word and are a member in good standing of Santuck Baptist Church, willing to submit to a background check, be flexible, have a willing heart, and are 16 years old or older, we would love to have you in our Preschool Ministry!
Our goals for the future are to be an instrument God uses to draw people to Himself and His Church and to provide a safe and fun environment in which children can feel God’s love and learn more about him.
Our weekly opportunities include:
- Sunday School
- Preschool Choir – a fun way to learn about Jesus through song along with fun activities and games.
- TeamKid – a fun ministry, full of games, crafts and activities, that encourages kids to know Christ and grow in relationship with Him.
- Extended Care
Our annual activities include:
- Vacation Bible School
- Fall Festival
- Birthday Party for Jesus
- Valentine Party
- Easter Egg hunt
- Children’s Day
- Kindergarten recognition and other special events.
Security – All of our teachers have gone through a background check.
Children’s Ministry (1st-5th Grade)
The purpose of Santuck Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents to teach and disciple children to know, love and serve God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This provides parents an opportunity to attend adult Bible Studies and small groups through which they can grow spiritually.
Our goal is to provide quality, spirit filled instruction so that parents will feel comfortable bringing their children and confident that they are being encouraged to grow in their walk with Christ.
The Children’s Ministry offers many activities for children including:
- Sunday School and Children’s Worship
- Bible Drills, Skills and Thrills – this offers a unique mix of activities that will help kids build strong Bible skills coupled with encouragement to apply what they learn from the Bible to their daily life.
- Children’s Choir- this is a time for our 1st-5th graders to focus some of their time on music and the importance of worship while focusing the remainder of their time on learning about and participating in local and foreign missions.
