Why Sunday school classes?

Sunday School exists to introduce God’s love, leading to an encounter of His transforming power, thus reaching the lost and teaching believers through His Word.  Through the transformation of His Word, the heart of the believer learns and loves God.

What to Expect:

When you attend a class, expect a casual atmosphere of studying and learning God’s Word.  You will not be asked to pray aloud, to read Scripture, or be called upon to answer a question.  Our desire is two-fold: first, to have a spiritual conversation about the passage of Scripture studied, and second, to equip you to learn how to study the bible on your own so you can have a deeper understanding of how to apply God’s Word in your life.  The class usually lasts about 75 minutes and there is a class for all ages.  While they may seem like a long time, some classes have a light breakfast, but good fellowship and a time of prayer for needs are included.

Growth Groups

Why Growth Groups?

Growth Groups are married to the Sunday School ministry of our church.  Sunday School introduces a believer to God’s transforming power.  Through His power, Growth Groups help the believer through the process of becoming like Jesus (Romans 8:29). Growth Groups help us understand spiritual disciplines and how to apply them to our daily living.

What to Expect:

When you attend a class you will find a relaxed atmosphere where people are seeking to grow in a specific area of discipline.  Through these particular studies, a disciple grows with other believers to be strengthened whereby Jesus Christ is the authority in his/her life.  The study time is between 60-75 minutes long.  There are classes for couples, men, and women.  There are also class options for preschool, children, and youth.

Preschool/Children Security Check-In – A parent or guardian is required to bring their child (preschool through 5th grade) to their class to sign them in, and to sign them out when they are picked up.
